This Economy Welding Headtop w/ X54V ADF lens is incredibly lightweight for a full size 5×4 welding helmet coming in at way below 14 oz! The large design accomodates safety glasses under the face shield and is perfect for general welding applications. It is made from Dupont® super tough flame retardant nylon that can withstand extreme cold and heat without cracking or deforming. The flame retardant shroud covers wearer’s neck, ears and back of head to prevent arc burns. Cover plate ejection system makes changing cover plates a breeze – simply push the internal button and pull the cover plate off, it’s just that easy! Includes comfortable Pera-Lok ratchet headgear that won’t wear out like all other brands. Also comes with an ultra-soft replaceable headband that conforms to the shape of your forehead for added comfort. Perfectly balanced for all day use. The X54V ADF lens has a 1.9″ x 3.8″ viewing area; UV/1R up to shade 16 with permanent outer coating to protect eyes; four light shade modes and Solar Cell primary battery with digital Lithium powered backup which lasts 5-10 years.
