Easy, portable, handy, effortless cleaning, all these terms are synonymous with cleaning wipes, which have become more important in recent times due to numerous benefits one single wipe potentially provides. For example, if you work in the construction or manufacturing industry, you’re probably thrilled about the prospect of returning to work. However, what measures have you taken to protect yourself and each other from the pandemic?
You’re used to wearing all manner of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in this case, a respirator to protect yourself from inhaling the dust and debris that’s common at construction and industrial sites. As a good rule of thumb, it’s advisable to use Alcohol Respirator wipes or Non-Alcohol Respirator Wipes (depending on your preference or need) to do a quick, on-the-spot cleaning of your mask or lenses.
Alcohol and Non-Alcohol Wipe Options
It’s now easier than ever to keep respirator and lens wipes readily available, mostly due to our brand new convenient packaging options for respirators and eyewear! Our Pocket Paks (20 count) are designed to fit in your pocket; while our Pocket Pak Dispenser Box (20 count/Pak, 20 Paks/Box) and Pop-Up Pak (200 count) are small enough to keep close at hand if there’s a need for quick sanitizing. The resealable tab on the Pocket Paks and snap-tight closure on the Pop-Up Paks keep the wipes moist for a long-lasting shelf life.
Our Alcohol Respirator wipes contain 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and are designed for use on rubber respirator masks and other personal safety equipment. Our Non-Alcohol Respirator Wipes are available for use where a manufacturer recommends using non-alcohol cleaning wipes. These wipes contain Benzalkonium Chloride and will not harm even the most sensitive rubber masks. Our Eyewear Cleaning Wipes are pre-moistened with an Isopropyl Alcohol solution featuring anti-fog, anti-static, silicone-free cleaning liquids making them excellent on glass or polycarbonate lenses.
Also available (in original packaging) are “The Big Ones”, our larger 8″ x 11″ respirator and personal safety equipment cleaning towelettes made from a specially selected fabric that is safe to use, unlike concentrated sanitizers that can be irritating to the skin. The large towelettes come in handy because they can thoroughly clean both full and half-mask respirators. Even better, our selection of cleaning kits and swabs meets OSHA standards for respirator cleaning, removing residues, dirt, and construction site grime.
As would be expected, businesses that care about their workers are reevaluating their hygiene protocols now more than ever to ensure a safe return to work during the pandemic. Consequently, there’s a higher than normal global demand for infection control practices. In this case, if you aren’t using these carefully packaged, pre-moistened, antiseptic towelettes, then you are doing the world a great disservice. Why? These wipes are specially formulated to make it possible to effectively eliminate the risk of cross-contamination by killing germs at the source while sanitizing the skin.
Our variety of disinfecting wipes are perfect for storing on your person, in and around the worksite, your locker, and in your First Aid kit to help kill surface bacteria, fungus, viruses, among other uses. Don’t say you were never warned!
